Kohuorangi Infrastructure provides professional photography, videography, drone capture and visual communications for roading, civil and infrastructure projects. We help project teams document progress, communicate milestones and showcase the people and mahi behind the work.
In partnership with NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, KOR Infrastructure has supported mana whenua engagement across the Hawke’s Bay Expressway project. Working alongside HEB Construction and Brian Perry Civil, we have helped facilitate site walkovers with hapū and iwi representatives, including Ngāti Pārau, Mana Ahuriri and Te Whānui o Orotū.
These walkovers help ensure mana whenua have access to the project sites, receive the information needed to understand the works, and have meaningful opportunities to ask questions, share their perspectives and contribute alongside the other parties involved in the project.

KOR supported NZTA Waka Kotahi on the Waikare Bridge project by creating a timelapse video capturing the construction process and progress of the bridge. The final video provided a clear visual record of the mahi and helped showcase the scale, development and key stages of the project.
KOR supported TREC by capturing a mana whenua site walkover at Site 217, a rail bridge project between Clive and Napier, opposite Ātea-a-Rangi. The walkover brought together kaitiaki from Te Whanganui-a-Orotū, Ngāti Parau and Mana Ahuriri to receive updates on construction progress, discuss the works underway and raise any questions directly with the project team. Our role was to document the engagement and help capture the ongoing relationship between the project, mana whenua and the whenua being worked on.
KOR developed a cultural induction video for the Hawke’s Bay Expressway project to support all personnel entering the construction site. The video provides workers with important cultural context, including the significance of the whenua, mana whenua values and the expectations for working respectfully within the project area. The induction helps ensure that everyone coming onto site begins with a shared understanding of the cultural landscape they are working within.
